Details

This project, led by KASI, marks a major milestone as South Korea’s first mission to explore the lunar surface in 2032. It is a large, collaborative effort in which multiple scientific payloads developed by different organizations are organically integrated into a single, coherent mission with the lunar lander. Our lab is responsible for designing a small rover capable of entering and observing scientifically valuable lunar caves, and for performing ground-based verification of its mission sequence.
